POSITION DETAILS:

This CNA will work with one male client in downtown Denver (80216 zip code) on a scheduled basis: every Saturday from 6-7am. In this role, you will assist the client in transitioning out of bed and into their wheelchair. Your work will be supported by the use of a Hoyer lift and will include positioning the client for overall comfort. The client lives with other family members and has a friendly dog.

POSITION INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Current and unencumbered CNS licensure (DORA to certify)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Prior home health experience (highly preferred)
• Working knowledge and experience of working within the disabled community 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
• Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Mobility to bend, stoop, kneel, twist at hips assist with transfers.
• Visual and auditory acuity to assess clients needs and respond promptly.
• Manual dexterity to perform tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal care.

COMPENSATION: $21 per hour (weekly paychecks)

SCHEDULE & LOCATION: Saturdays 6am-7am in Denver, CO 80216
